my name is Tommy Gunns, and I am a one man band that plays mostly bluesy, gritty rock and roll songs. I am based in Astoria, NY, and with NYC being a melting pot of great music and venues, I feel very blessed to be able to play my songs when I can. Most of my songs are sad, but some are fun; I enjoy putting on a good show for whoever has the time to listen, and try to maintain a conviction with the music I create. I take heavy influence from Beth Ditto/Gossip, Jack White, The Soledad Brothers, Left Lane Cruiser, Lana Del Rey, The Black Keys and a handful of others.
